Repentance is sincere regret or remorse for a past action/ deed with a firm turning away from the wrong doing and a clear choice made to change ones behavior and lifestyle for better.Its not just a feeling of remorse/ regret but a shift in mind and direction.it has 3 parts change of HEART, Mind& ACTION .repentance can be for sin affecting men or God. The sin to god needs the most urgent correction. Has this affects our soul that’s eternal. Repentance is1- biblical- Jesus preached it- Matthew 4vs 17, Acts2: 38 and Luke 24:46-47. 2- It’s a command-your accountable-1corinthians5:10,Acts 17:30-31. 3 -Lead to life open us to life in Christ- Acts 11:8,Romans 10: 14-17. 4- failure lead to death- mark1:15- repentance open us to his salvation – he comes into your heart and life- 2 peter3: 9,1 Timothy 1:15-16.6: make us sorry for or wrong- lead to change- Job-42:5-6,2 Corinthians 7: 9-10. 7- turning/ change of mind-Acts26: 20- it’s a 180 degree turn to face the lord/change. Don’t harden your heart to the lords call for change he loves us all and desire us to come to him in surrender so he can embrace us
